"The most important thing I’m learning and working on is to relax. By moving slowly and not hurrying through the technique, I’ve found that my movements are much smoother and that openings appear much more naturally rather than being forced. Through this calmer movement I can better understand where my openings are and what I still need to work on. I also find that I use less muscle strength and more of my body so that I don’t have to work as hard to ‘make the technique work’. I think this is very applicable both in training and in life because staying relaxed allows you to be flexible and change as needed regardless of the situation."
